Dear Bulldog Students, Families, and Friends,

Welcome to the second semester and the exciting second half of the school year! With winter behind us and spring on the horizon, our campus is buzzing with renewed energy, fresh goals, and a shared commitment to finishing the year strong. This is always a meaningful time at Sandpoint High School: a moment to reflect on how far our students have come and to look ahead.

Our mission at SHS is to Inspire, and this quarter we are placing a special emphasis on inspiring student engagement. As we move into class forecasting season, we encourage students to think beyond simply meeting graduation requirements. This is an opportunity for them to explore courses that spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect to their interests and future aspirations. Learning is most powerful when students feel invested, challenged, and excited about what’s next.

Last Friday, our counseling department shared important information with students about graduation requirements, course offerings, and four-year planning. These conversations are an important step in helping students take ownership of their educational journey and envision the path ahead. We appreciate families partnering with us during this process and your encouragement and conversations at home make a difference. This Friday, students will be completing their forecasting requests in the 4th period classroom during an extended Connections schedule.
