WELCOME TO SANDPOINT HIGH SCHOOL
December 2024
Dear Bulldog Students, Families, and Friends,
I hope you had a joyful Thanksgiving filled with good company and great memories. As we head into the holiday season, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who attended our parent/teacher/student conferences. These moments of collaboration and connection are some of the most rewarding parts of the year as we work together to support our students.
This season, SHS is shining a spotlight on inspiring leadership within our school and community. From hosting the Fall Sportsman Leadership Symposium, which brought together student-athletes and coaches from Region I to discuss teamwork and resilience, to collaborating with Leadership Sandpoint to highlight inspirational learning opportunities, leadership is thriving at Sandpoint High School.
Our Student Council Leaders have been busy spreading holiday cheer by decking the halls with cheer and will be raising funds for Toys for Tots, contributing to the community while also working toward the goal of winning the Battle for the Paddle against Lakeland in January. Their dedication to service and school spirit is a perfect example of how leadership at SHS makes a real difference both in and outside our school walls.
As the end of the semester quickly approaches in January, now is the time for students to stay focused and make the most of this grading period. Encourage them to take advantage of the many resources we offer: in-class learning opportunities, Bulldog Time, Schoology updates, and after-school ACCESS. Consistent attendance and punctuality remain essential for success—every day counts!
Be sure to keep an eye out for important updates in the coming weeks, shared through classes, email, Schoology, School Messenger, and our school website: https://sh.lposd.org. Thank you for being part of the SHS family.
Warm regards,
Principal Jacki Crossingham
