Sandpoint High School’s Graduation Ceremony is Friday, June 11th at 6:30pm at Memorial Field. You are required to participate in graduation practice in order to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.

Graduation Practice is Thursday, June 10th at 2:00pm at Sandpoint High School’s gym. You should expect to be at practice for approximately 2 hours. All fines and fees must be paid to participate in practice. All credits must also be finalized (we have to be certain you meet the graduation requirements) before practice.

Other important items of note about Graduation:

    1. Seniors need to be at Memorial Field by 5:45pm in order to get ready for the ceremony. Seniors will gather at the tennis courts behind the stadium or basketball courts (depending on construction) for “staging.”

    2. Doors open for general public admission/seating at 5:30. No prior reserved or saved seating will be allowed other than official SHS reserved seating (valedictorian, senior class president, etc).

    3. To protect our ability to use Memorial Field in the future, please remember it is owned by the City of Sandpoint and use of the field does not allow the following items (for protection of the turf and insurance reasons):

      1. No food or drinks on the turf other than water.

      2. No fireworks, confetti, balloons, or other items that may damage or pose a difficulty to clean off the turf.

      3. No drones in any part of the facility.

    4. Sandpoint High School and Lake Pend Oreille School District prohibits the following items:

      1. Smoking, vaping, or tobacco products of any kind

      2. Drugs or alcohol

      3. Weapons

    1. Parking is limited. Be considerate of private residences.

    2. Students must adhere to all school dress code rules - SHOES MUST BE WORN! You must have a cap and gown to participate. If caps are decorated, no alcohol, drug, sexual references/slang, or demeaning statements/symbols towards individuals or groups of people will be allowed.

    3. Students must follow behavior expectations during the event. If anyone violates behavior or dress code expectations, we reserve the right to not allow you to participate and or the student's diploma may be held in order to meet with administration later in June.

    4. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines as best as possible.
