Journalism / Media Technology

The Journalism Technology program is nationally recognized and offers students the opportunity to produce media for various platforms. Students enter the program learning the basics of journalism, graphic design and photography in semester-long classes. In the capstone class, students produce content for the Cedar Post newspaper, SHSCedarPost.com, and the daily announcements. Students work with industry standard equipment, learning the latest trends in media delivery, and have the opportunity to earn credits from the University of Idaho.
